I read the first two acts so far Uncle Vanya, Chekhov. In the 'magic pen, too.
Well, what I've scribbled out is as follows:
- Elena Andreevna: Woman of principles, a bit strange to to tell the truth, but still have principles. He dreams of being able to reconcile everything to everyone and vice versa.
- Uncle Vanya: a man consumed by nostalgia for a past spent on this nonsense and now it looks like an absurdity to look with cynicism, irony (?)
Owned by a rodent Andreevna love for Elena, as she does not want to be restrained "philosophies," not even want you shrivels into laziness, as in fact happened.
Astrov: dignified figure, is a doctor who thinks that "God knows what our true calling," loves the woods and loves drink because he feels that when drunk will be able to be the bearer of an immense benefit to humanity. Not satisfied with life, he says, as Vanya, you're going to become all of croaker and nothing else.
At one point in the second act is a monologue that is a masterpiece of cynicism.
