THE VERY HAPPY HOUR

freely taken from The Bacchae of Euripides
with
Francesca Franchini, Giorgia Poletto, Eleonora Panizzo, Alessio Navarra, Massimo Rossetto

director Lorenzo Marangoni

In conjunction with the World Day of theater, set their own Saturday, March 27, 2010 season resumes Space Off: after the first three calendar appointments, we continue with a show once a young emerging companies, Noninerenti, Padua. 'The very happy hour ' scheduled at Area Off Saturday 27 and Sunday, March 28, is an absolute debut.
An initial study of the work, lasting about fifteen minutes, Bacanti taken from Euripides, was presented at the end of the twelfth
Festival Theatre Directed by Fantasio Piccoli, in Trent, in December . The festival jury has awarded the company's director Lorenzo Marangoni the third prize and Off to Space presents the work complete.

" These Bacchae do not shed, do not prepare in any revolution - the director says on his show Maragoni -. But we still talk about wine, "there is no other remedy of their penis," as stated in the original text of Euripides. Our Bacchae are unforgiving and straight on their way, because there is no other way. Our Pentheus is the boy too young to port to the party, bored with the power of himself. Begin the holiday that could be a community of family, and roles, and freedom. What could be the happiest hours, or turn forever into its opposite.
attempt, the challenge was of
undermine a classic author , putting it into play from the point of view of construction of the scene, characters, text and spoken word at the same time without sacrificing anything in the objectives that we Bacchae seemed to see, nothing in the universe of content, relationships, meanings of the work is so rich. In practice, the work had the objective of trying to force the text, through a research and improvisation in which teamwork was essential tool, to push the limit and force it, but try to never exceed : an image for a word, a look for a monologue, a transfiguration of the scene, the choir, narration, in which, however, remain recognizable even sharper and the Bacchae, Pentheus, Cadmus, and the clear message of the author. The goal was to get to leave the essential meanings, relationships, already alive and well in the theater of Euripides and society of two thousand and five hundred years ago, that we, in 2009, we could not do without note to still have him.

Noninerenti
is a young company of Padua. The director, Lorenzo Marangoni wins third prize at the XII International Festival of Theatre Royal Fantasio Piccoli , with its original reinterpretation of Euripides' Bacchae. In 2008 and 2009, the Company Noninerenti was reported to Reality Theatre Academy Prize for Young Nico Pepe in Udine.

La Grande Bouffe Marco Ferreri - Italy, 1973 - 130 '

Third meeting for the review of Wednesday Off Space dedicated to the figure of Ugo Tognazzi, Italian actor of great use in 2010 in the twenty years after his death.
After 'Monsters' by Dino Risi, and 'La vita agra' Lizzani of Charles, the third film is directed by more than any other was for a steady partner Ugo Tognazzi, almost an alter-ego. Marco Ferreri Tognazzi working with since the early sixties, at the time of 'The Queen Bee,' de 'The woman monkey', 'The audience', until you reach 'La grande bouffe', a true manifesto of cinema grotesque and satirical Ferreri, made with a cast of 'exception, composed of the same Tognazzi, alongside Marcello Mastroianni, Michel Piccoli and Philippe Noiret. Despite the very high intellectual level, in theory and practice, the film was panned by most critics, blatantly booed at the Cannes Film Festival and heavily edited by censors.
Ugo is a host, a TV producer Michel, Marcello a pilot, a magistrate Philippe. The four are friends and have created a sort of club of connoisseurs. I decided to commit suicide by eating, getting rid of a life that seems to have no purpose, goes to the house of Philippe, just outside Paris, where he had once stayed Boileau. Immediately begin the disproportionate and succulent meals. Meanwhile Marcello invites prostitutes, but they leave the house almost immediately, adversely affected by the apathy and indifference of the guests. A teacher, who arrived to show their students the lime Boileau, was invited to join the group and accepts the invitation, seeing the whole story. Meanwhile, the tragedy is taking place. Marcello, who fell asleep at night in the garden in a Bugatti car, dies frozen. Michel died in an attempt to get rid of intestinal gas. Ugo lost their lives because of the contractions of digestion impossible. Philippe is death, eating again, among the howls of the dogs from the butcher and the waiters who still bear food. WOOF! a melòpunk

by and starring Paul Faroni

assistance and technical director Massimo Canepa

Resumes Area Off season 2010: after the first calendar appointments ('Chekhov # 01', 'White Nights 'and the three nights of sold-out' Chicken & free band '), coming off a young company in Piedmont, with a monologue of great impact and effect to the public via the small theater of Venice. On stage for two nights, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 March at 21, 'Woof! A melòpunk , by and with Paul Faron, and directed by Emanuele Crotti.

A story of love and death in the colors of a rickety cartoon mixed with scraps of an old film noir. In a city inspector unfortunate investigates a series of violent murders. In a suburban boy waiting below the window of the woman he loves, armed with a baseball bat. He waits for his beloved leaves the shelter warm and safe home and join him in the night. They are the "Wolf" and "Sheep", lovers bound together by a strange game of seduction, separated by more than a fence, condemned to chase without ever understanding who is the prey and who is the hunter.
Blusclint born from the meeting, in 2004, between Paul and Faroni Massimo Canepa. The first graduates in the School of Dramatic Art director Paolo Grassi, but it is also an actor and author, the second driver stage and stage director, but also a PhD in philosophy, aesthetics. They meet at the monologue with your lips without saying for whom Massimo Canepa is responsible for lights. To Woof! A melòpunk collaboration deepens touching, thanks to the collaboration, directed by Emanuele Crotti, dramatic and scenic issues. They take care of it with text and direction of the project Saturday evening (with love from the province), where the first twenty minutes will be rewarded with a special mention to New Sensitivity in 2008 and whose full version is chosen, among several other proposals, from the School of Dramatic Arts Paolo Grassi, to debut in September of that year, within the review forecast at the Teatro Verdi in Milan.
Blusclint The texts come from the pen of Paul Faroni that shamelessly, draws inspiration from her own experience. All with lucid detachment in order to distill some truth from personal experience to share with the public without being a fool that you own business in front of a paying audience. The separation is achieved through irony, the creation of masks, telling a story. The characters in each tread the scene, are each marked by a clear writing style: surreal, poetic, realistic. The themes - love, death and the journey that unites them - are addressed in key real, dreamlike, metaphoric. A
Blusclint like poetry in the truest sense of the word, which has its roots in the greek poieo verb: to do. Consequently, the draft text, obtained by the repeated comparison of the written word and stage action: To avoid static or sterile literary lyricism. No more of the staging, the actors' personal contribution to the action stage, by making this practice by giving it life, color and thickness. Clarity sought a refund of experienced and made the trip - or is achieved, even - in it, is at the root of Blusclint.
